Jennifer Pittsford is a visual artist specializing in collage and mixed media, using torn and cut magazines, paint and pastels to create an image.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jennifer has been creating art since she was a toddler. Jennifer has always been interested in various artistic mediums including painting and drawing. As a senior in high school, she was accepted into the Art Satellite Program where she took an advanced course at The Milwaukee Art Museum. This is where Jennifer was introduced to collage as a fine art medium. The end of the program culminated in an exhibit at the museum and a solo show at her high school. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors Degree of Art History.
She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and their two children.
